The Clean Cities Campaign is a European coalition of organisations hosted by Transport & Environment. Together, we aim to encourage cities to transition to zero-emission mobility by 2030, pushing European cities to become champions of active, shared and electric mobility for a more liveable and sustainable urban future.

This followed 12 years with Greenpeace where she led various international projects, including its cities-focused international transport and air quality work. Most recently she was the program director of Greenpeace Belgium. Barbara has also been a visiting lecturer at the University of Westminster in London, teaching communications and campaigns, and she runs her own sustainability consultancy firm. Jens Müller
Policy & Research Lead

Jens Müller
Policy & Research Lead
Jens coordinates T&E's work on cars and air quality and works part-time for the organisation. He brings together partners from T&E’s networks across the EU in order forge new alliances and make the right to clean air a reality. Jens previously worked for almost eight years as transport policy advisor to MEP Michael Cramer. He mainly followed legislation on decarbonisation, the railways and EU investment policies. From 2014 to 2017, he also assisted Cramer in his role as chair of the European Parliament's transport committee. Jens holds a master’s degree in European economic studies from the Free University of Brussels (ULB). He is very passionate about languages and speaks German, French, English, Dutch, Spanish and some basic Arabic. A keen cyclist, he is convinced that clever solutions for sustainable mobility must combine fun and climate protection. And if you want to make him really happy, take him to a cosy little café to have a chat over a fresh caffè latte.
