Luca joined T&E in March 2022 having worked in academic research, agricultural development and football analytics. He joined T&E's Trends and Analysis team, specialising in freight emissions' modelling. Luca graduated with a degree in economic and social sciences from Bocconi University, having completed a thesis on the optimisation of economic theory based on recent findings in neuroscience.
Luca is a co-founder of Rethinking Economics Bocconi, an international organisation promoting pluralism in economics, where he wrote articles on economic and environmental policy. He speaks his Italian, English and Spanish, and is trying to learn French. His free time is equally split between his two loves: football and wine.
