Roman joined T&E after working in the Aviation Directorate of the European Commission. There he dealt with policies related to aviation safety and diplomacy. He currently manages T&E’s work on turning aviation decarbonisation into reality from an economic perspective.
Roman studied political science and European affairs in Strasbourg, Toronto, and Bruges with a specialisation in EU climate policy and Franco-German relations. Coming originally from the French Pyrenees, he devoted his youth to Pelote Basque and proudly represented his hometown Luchon in the French championships. Outside of work you can find him cycling in Brussels, hopping on a train, or talking about mobility and the environment with anyone interested.
