Simon first joined T&E in 2020 after working in WWF-France's climate team, where he analysed the climate impact of SUVs. As T&E's freight data analyst, he helped to provide new evidence on how to decarbonise road freight.
After one year off, sailing across the Atlantic and travelling in South America, he is now T&E's transport energy and data analyst. His analytical work is currently focused on biofuels, e-fuels and oil and gas.
From Bordeaux, Simon studied general engineering at Ecole Centrale de Lille and specialised in energy systems. In addition to his native French, he speaks English and Spanish. Outside the office, Simon loves hiking and camping in the mountains as well as cycling.
