Inesa joined T&E in June 2023 as Sustainable Shipping Officer. She focuses on the decarbonization of the shipping industry, in particular through the uptake of sustainable marine fuels. Her previous experiences include the European Commission, where she worked on environmental and maritime affairs, and also the UK embassy in Lithuania, where she focused on defence policies and bilateral diplomacy.
Coming from Lithuania, Inesa studied political science, international relations and diplomacy in Vilnius, Lyon and Paris. She is keenly interested in international environmental, foreign policies and geopolitics. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, hiking and exploring nature, or, during rainy days, immersing herself into good music or a novel.
