From 2011 to 2018 Andrea was head of Greenpeace Italy's Climate and Energy campaign where he designed and managed national referendum campaigns (against nuke and offshore drilling) as well as a successful campaign to convince Enel to phase out coal. He then worked as programme director at LAV, the largest animal rights group in Italy before joining T&E's Italian office.
Andrea has also been a columnist and a contributor for many different national newspapers. He has a PhD in Sociology of Communication and has taught Political Communication at IULM University, in Milan, as well as in other master courses in Rome and Florence. He lives in Rome with his partner, daughter, dog and cat. They all tolerate him while playing jazz flut, and lovingly support his passion for writing.
