How can the EU accelerate the market for ultra-low carbon vehicles?

Addressing representatives of Member States, Commission Representatives and MEPs, this event will release and discuss new evidence on which incentives Europe can give to accelerate the ultra-low-emission vehicles market and reach climate targets in the transport sector.

While sales numbers for ultra low emission vehicles are growing fast and they will gain a significant share in the coming years, the European Commission is now looking into ways to ‘incentivise low and zero-emission vehicles in a technology-neutral way, such as setting specific targets for them’.

Against this background, two EU carmakers will discuss the findings with key Member States and Commission representatives. The event will be wrapped up by an MEP.
