Join us for a webinar marking the launch of the fourth Auto Supply Chain Leaderboard, published by T&E and Lead the Charge, a global coalition of climate, environment, and human rights organisations.

The 2026 Leaderboard ranks 18 of the world’s largest automakers on their efforts to build cleaner, more equitable electric vehicle supply chains, from batteries to steel and aluminium. This year’s results show clear progress in some areas, driven largely by electrification and regulation, but also highlight major gaps and growing political risks.

In this webinar, Franziska Grüning (T&E), together with Lead the Charge partners Vuyisile Ncube (Earthworks) and Wenjie Liu (Sunrise Project), will walk through the key findings, including:

  • Which automakers are leading - and which are falling behind

  • Where concrete progress is happening in EV supply chains

  • How performance varies across regions

  • Why regulatory rollbacks now risk slowing or reversing these gains

As the auto industry shifts towards electric vehicles, the Leaderboard helps define what it means to move beyond tailpipe emissions and address the environmental and social impacts embedded in vehicle supply chains.
