Future car CO2 standards: Question time

Future CO2 standards for cars and vans will set important milestones for the future of the EU's car industry, define the speed of transition to e-mobility and determine the climate efforts Member States will make in reducing transport emissions.

Just as the Members of the lead committees in the European Parliament get ready to vote their positions, Transport&Environment invites you to an interactive panel debate on this key file in transport legislation, kindly hosted by Rapporteur Miriam Dalli (S&D) and shadow rapporteur Nils Torvalds (ALDE), in the European Parliament on Wednesday June 27, 18:00 - 20:00.

The format of the event is Question Time from the audience to the panellists. There will be no presentations, no opening remarks, just debate. In order to participate in the debate, please propose a question to the panel by replying to this email. Please send this to us by the end of the week to have your question considered.

T&E will select a variety of questions and invite their proposer to ask it to the panel of key stakeholders concerned by the post-2020 regulation, including carmakers, trade unions, electricity providers and consumers. Your question should be succinct.  It can be on any topic linked to the car or van CO2 regulation but those of less usual topics are more likely to be successful.
