Response to Commission report on implementation of the TENs guidelines
This report is a short response to the Commission’s 1998 report on “implementation of the guidelines for the development of the trans-European transport network”.
It is intended to raise the issues that most concern T&E both in the development of the Trans-European Networks for Transport (TEN-T) and the Commission’s assessment. This paper will therefore be followed by a more comprehensive response that addresses in more detail many of the issues raised by the Commission report.
