Lucien joined T&E in December 2017 and currently leads the cars programme, coordinating T&E's efforts on car electrification. He and his team advocate for policies and regulations in Brussels aimed at accelerating electrification, regulating vehicle emissions, and decarbonising cars, including initiatives such as the EU car CO2 standards, Euro7, and EU charging laws.
Lucien initially joined T&E as an analyst in the cars and freight team. In 2021, he served as interim director for the truck programme, followed by a role as interim director of T&E France in Paris in 2022. Since 2023, he has been the director of the cars programme.
Before joining T&E, Lucien interned at Tesla in Amsterdam, where he worked on policies and programmes promoting electro-mobility.
Originally from Clermont-Ferrand in central France, Lucien studied general engineering at l’Ecole Centrale Lyon, specialising in applied mathematics, business development, and business intelligence. He speaks English, French, and Spanish. Beyond his professional interests in electro-mobility, Lucien enjoys travelling, hiking, mountaineering, running, listening to music, and tasting Belgian beers with friends.
