Giacomo joined T&E in 2025 as a Data Analyst in the Aviation team, where he applies quantitative modelling and economic analysis to strengthen the organisation’s work on fair aviation taxation and transport climate policy.
Originally from Italy, Giacomo spent a few years at a Brussels‑based specialist management consultancy, advising clients on the costs and benefits of EU environmental regulation. Before that, he worked for an Italian trade association on sustainable finance topics.
He holds a double MSc in Economic Analysis and European Policy from LUISS Guido Carli (Rome) and the Université Libre de Bruxelles. He speaks Italian and English and is steadily improving his French while living in Brussels. Outside work, Giacomo loves films and TV series but also enjoys playing sports, particularly football. He’s always ready for a bike ride or to try a new restaurant - and, of course, who doesn’t love a good Belgian beer?
