MEPs vote for a fairer road pricing system

The European Parliament took an important step yesterday towards fair and efficient pricing in transport at its plenary meeting in Strasbourg.

[mailchimp_signup][/mailchimp_signup]A large majority of MEPs accepted rapporteur Luigi Cocilovo’s report o­n charging heavy goods vehicles for the use of certain areas of road transport infrastructure, amending the so-called Eurovignette directive (1999/62).
