T&E looks at how European oil flows have changed following three years of pandemic and then war in Ukraine. While there is clear evidence of a current surge in renewable energy in the EU as well as a renewed political ambition to speed up the energy transition, trends in oil demand and sobriety measures have been overlooked. T&E’s report looks at how much oil Europe is still importing and where those imports are now coming from.
