Ahead of the upcoming debate in the European Parliament’s Environment Committee on the proposed Euro 7 pollutant emission standard for vehicles, six NGOs have written to the lead MEP Alexandr Vondra to raise their concerns on the weakening of key provisions of the proposal. The letter is signed by the European Public Health Alliance, Eurocities, Transport & Environment, POLIS, the European Respiratory Society (ERS), and Environmental Coalition on Standards (ECOS).
