Simon Suzan

Simon first joined T&E in 2020 after working in WWF-France's climate team, where he analysed the environmental impacts of SUVs. As T&E's freight data analyst, he helped to provide new evidence on how to decarbonise road freight.

After one year off, sailing across the Atlantic and travelling in South America, he is now leading T&E's research on fuels as a Principal Analyst. His work focuses mostly on biofuels and hydrogen-based fuels, assessing the adoption of alternative fuels within Europe's energy policies and uncovering their true environmental impacts.

Simon holds an M.S. in Electrical Energy for Sustainable Development from École Centrale de Lille, France. In addition to his native French, he speaks English and Spanish. Outside the office, Simon loves hiking and camping in the mountains as well as cycling.
