Riccardo Gambini

Riccardo is Italian and moved to Brussels for work more than four years ago. Prior to relocating, he worked as a customs operator for a shipping company and completed a traineeship at the European Parliament liaison office in Milan. In Brussels, he has worked as a policy officer for business associations and environmental NGOs, most recently at BirdLife Europe, where he conducted advocacy on forest and bioenergy issues.

He holds a master’s degree in international relations and a Level II master’s degree in environmental economics and management.

In addition to Italian, Riccardo speaks English, Spanish, and French.

Outside of office hours, he enjoys hiking in the mountains, playing tennis, or swimming to relax. He is also interested in urban development and architecture and is always keen to explore urban environments through urbex activities.
