Max joined T&E in 2020 as a research analyst. They work on road freight decarbonisation, covering both light and heavy commercial vehicles as well as buses and coaches.
Max originally studied environmental sciences at the University of Tokyo, before obtaining a MSc in environmental economics and policy at Imperial College of London, writing a thesis on rural vulnerability to fuel tax increases. They speak English and French fluently, and slowly learn German. In their free time, Max enjoys reading and painting.
