Senior Analyst, Batteries & Industrial Policy Brussels (EU)

Loïs joined T&E in February 2026 as a senior analyst on batteries and industrial policy. Prior to that, he worked as a researcher at CEA's Institute of Energy Economics, conducting prospective modelling and supply chain assessments on critical raw materials, with a particular focus on batteries.

Before working on resource and energy topics, Loïs conducted research on the environmental sustainability of space activities, combining impact quantification with a systemic approach. He also advanced these issues as an environmental engineer at CNES and MaiaSpace, an independent consultant, a technical expert for Aéro Décarbo and The Shift Project, and through his work as a speaker and lecturer, notably at CentraleSupélec.

In his free time, Loïs enjoys surfing, astronomy, DIY, slow travel, and reading.
