How implementing the Clean Energy Package can foster electromobility

The review of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, the Renewable Energy Directive, the Market Design Directive and Regulation and the Energy Efficiency Directive offer an opportunity to member states to introduce a coherent regulatory framework on electromobility. For example, the innovations in the design of electricity markets will be instrumental in promoting the smart charging of electric vehicles. Member states are currently discussing the implementation of these EU laws in national legislation.
