  • T&E member offers sustainable transport design services

In an era in which corporate image and presentation play a big role in how credible an organisation looks, one of T&E’s members is branching out beyond the field of environmental transport and offering design, creative and public relations services.

Transform Scotland, which is based in Edinburgh, has launched Transform Creative, to provide what it describes as high-quality yet affordable design and communications services for NGOs. It has put together a network of experienced professionals in the field of graphic design, web design, illustration, photography and digital communications, as well as experts in campaigning and public affairs. The idea is to select a team from this network to work on each project depending on the skills needed.

Transform Scotland’s director Colin Howden said: ‘The idea came from a general discussion about how we can provide additional income. We obviously need certain creative skills, so we have built up a network of people who provide various services. By using our own network, we can act as an agency but without the overheads and extra staffing costs. That allows us to provide NGOs with the opportunity to improve how they look to the world while at the same time contributing to Transform Scotland’s campaigns for sustainable transport.’
