Initial results from Berlin's Low Emissions Zone (LEZ) show some encouraging results.
Microparticles (PM10) are 3% down, nitrogen dioxide is 10% down, and soot 14-22% down. The number of days on which permitted PM10 levels were exceeded was down by four. T&E’s German board member Michael Müller-Görnert said: ‘These positive results strengthen the case for clean air and the need to push cities, politics and truck manufacturers to do more and do better.’
