Getting transport’s prices right: Last chance wasted
Yesterday's transport Council meeting failed to reach agreement on the Eurovignette. This had been the last chance under the present Commission for progress on making transport pay for its full costs, after its failure to propose a framework directive on pricing it had promised in 2001.
