T&E’s French member organisation FNE has started a campaign showing that fine particle emissions from diesel engines can have deadly consequences for human health and the environment.

Its stark message, ‘diesel kills’, was prominently displayed on French roads in what it calls ‘reverse graffiti’, although it was mysteriously scrubbed off the walls of the Paris ‘Périphérique’ inner ring road just a week later.
