Tackling motorised two-wheelers
The Commission has published a proposal to improve the safety and emissions performance of motorcycles and other vehicles with fewer than four wheels.
The plan is to introduce stricter Euro standards at three-yearly intervals. Toxic emissions from so-called ‘category L vehicles’ such as mopeds and motorised scooters are disproportionately high.
