Transport prices should better reflect the real costs to the users, make the transport sector more efficient and reduce its negative impacts on the environment and the citizens.

It also has the change to take the Union’s progressive agenda forward, notably through advancing the Gothenburg agenda int he synthesis report to be adopted at the Barcelona summit.
