Green 10 statement on delay of EU air quality and marine thematic strategies

Two environmental thematic strategies due to be presented by the European Commission in July - air quality and marine protection - have been officially removed from the EU agenda and postponed until an unspecified date.

The decision has been taken by EU Commission President Barroso. The ‘Green 10’ group of environmental NGOs in Brussels reacted with a letter to European Commission’s President.
