Environmental groups in Spain fear climate and environmental protection could be downgraded following last month’s change of Spanish government.
The right-wing Popular Party (PP) headed by Mariano Rajoy has been sceptical about whether climate change is caused by greenhouse gases and had very few climate commitments in its election programme.
