The term ‘electric vehicles’ tends to mean cars, but an EU-funded project wants some of the electric attention focused on bicycles.
The ‘Presto’ project has produced a policy guide on electric bicycles, which was launched last month. It has been written by the cycle retailers’ umbrella association ETRA (European Twowheel Retailers’ Association), and is aimed at improving awareness about electric bicycles so they become more widely used. The guide can be downloaded from the Presto website, www.presto-cycling.eu.
