Dale has held a variety of senior posts within NGOs and the Media over the last 20 years, focusing on operations since 2009. Prior to joining T&E in this role, he was the Director of Operations at the WWF office in Brussels. He has recently held board positions at IEEP (Institute for European Environmental Policy) and the FAIB (Federation of European and International Associations). He has a daughter, a lovely partner, three bikes and two cats. He lives and works in Brussels, but has spent time in other less wet places. While he enjoys nature in general, octopus and otters fascinate him.

Belgian, Marc joined T&E in January 2013. Prior to that, he was in charge of the finance department at Colgate-Palmolive Benelux. Born and bred in the Brussels region, Marc is true to his country’s multi-lingual nature and speaks French, Dutch and English. He studied for a bachelor’s degree in accounting in Brussels, specialising in corporate taxes. As T&E’s director of operations, Marc is responsible for the financial and human resources aspects of the organisation. With the help of the officer manager, he also works to keep the working environment nice and friendly. Outside of work Marc tends to his vegetable garden, brews his own (delicious) beers, and keeps several chickens to ensure a steady supply of fresh eggs.

Aisling arrived in Belgium in 2011 after working for a number of years managing national cultural projects in Ireland. She joined T&E in September 2014, adding her considerable organisational skills to the finance and office management team. She speaks English and continues to improve her French with her francophone colleagues. Aisling studied business and arts management in the Institute of Art, Design and Technology in Dublin, and went on to complete her masters degree in public culture studies at the same institute. Before joining T&E in June 2020, Tina worked as an administrative assistant in the recruitment sector. Prior to that she combined working and studying for almost 10 years and gained extensive experience in administrative and organisational support roles within educational, training and fundraising organisations. Tina is the contact person for all administrative and organisational questions at T&E. Tina holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and another BA in French languages and literature. She also has a master’s degree in Slavic languages and literature from ULB in Belgium. She is half Lithuanian, half Russian and speaks Lithuanian, Russian, English and French. When not in the office, you will most probably find Tina at a swing/jazz dancing party, on a yoga mat, or cuddled up with a good book and a cup of tea.

Joining T&E in August 2021, Zixin assists the operations team and works closely with the executive director as PA. She has a well-rounded study background in French Language and Literature (Beijing Foreign Studies University), Political Sciences (Sciences Po Aix), and Social and Cultural Anthropology (KU Leuven). Following her passion for intercultural communication and sustainable development, Zixin completed several internships in project management and event coordination before starting her career at T&E. Native in Chinese, Zixin is also fluent in English and French. She enjoys travelling and new encounters, yet she doesn't neglect to spend time with her lovely plants in the sunshine. Aside from that she enjoys reading, writing, drawing and gaming.
