Tom Taylor

Tom leads T&E's aviation policy work in the UK, with a focus on transitioning away from fossil fuel and towards cleaner, greener alternatives. He joined T&E in 2026 from the Department for Transport, where he worked on the SAF Mandate and the UK's carbon budget policy for transport.

Tom has worked on climate policy at both local and national levels, and he also has experience in communications.

Outside of work, he can be found seeing friends, watching old films, playing football, cycling around London and learning to play the banjo (very slowly).
