Tim Dexter

Tim leads T&E’s road vehicles policy work in the UK, with a focus on accelerating the transition to cleaner, greener transport. He joined T&E in 2025 from Asthma + Lung UK, where he led the charity’s clean air team, campaigning for cleaner and greener transport solutions in the UK’s most polluted cities and towns.

Originally from Wales, Tim began his career working in a number of political roles, including for the UK Labour Party and several senior political figures, before moving into the NGO sector.

Outside of work, he enjoys exploring historical sites, playing and watching sports, especially rugby, and spending time with his two young children, often found scaling the nearest climbing frame.
