Tender transport
Agreement has been reached between MEPs and ministers on new rules for public transport contracts.

Under a compromise, all contracts with an average annual value of more than €1 million,or over 300 000 kilometres of public transport services per year, will have to be opened to full tendering competition, but smaller contracts can be awarded directly by authorities without a tendering process.
