Real air prices
The days of the €1 flight look to be over. Advertised air fares will have to include all taxes, fees and charges added to the basic ticket price following a deal between MEPs and ministers which was due to be approved by the full European Parliament later this month.
The text of the ‘transparency amendment’ to a draft regulation says air passengers, like other consumers, have a right to clear and comprehensive information on the price they have to pay in reality.
