Reananda Hidayat Permono

Rean joined T&E in 2026 as Project Manager for Indonesia. Based in Jakarta, he leads zero-emission truck initiatives and broader transport decarbonisation strategies alongside local partners. In this role, Reananda develops stakeholder engagement strategies involving government institutions, industrial sectors, and media to accelerate the adoption of zero-emission trucks.

Before moving into the policy space, Rean spent seven years in oil and gas exploration in Timor-Leste. He holds a degree in Geophysics Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology and a Master’s degree in Geology from Curtin University. This combination provides him with a valuable perspective spanning conventional energy systems and the transition to sustainable pathways.

Rean frequently contributes op-eds to national and regional media outlets. Outside the office, he enjoys playing tennis, table tennis badminton and reading fiction novels.
