Matthias joined as the Singapore Director of T&E in August 2025. With an engineering background and with over 15 years of sustainability experience across public-private sectors in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific, Matthias' perspectives and diverse skill set help connect the dots between policy formulation and implementation towards driving ecosystem-level impact. Prior to T&E, Matthias worked in the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment and PUB in Singapore, driving adaptation and renewable energy policy and infrastructure, in sustainability data and advocacy with Moody's Corporation and CDP, and in various roles with Singapore Airlines, City Developments Limited and CH2M.
Matthias is also active contributing to charitable causes and in supporting future generations, such as through meaningful past and present positions with the Industry Advisory Board for the College of Design and Engineering at the National University of Singapore, in Charities and non-profits such as Caregiving Welfare Association, Mainly I Love Kids (MILK) Fund, and The Sustainability Service.
