Sofie Grande y Rodriguez

Sofie joined T&E in June 2025, where she is leading the policy work on decarbonising corporate fleets, covering both the cars and heavy duty segment. She brings about four years of experience in EU climate and environmental policy with her, having previously worked as a Parliamentary Assistant in the European Parliament responsible for the ENVI Committee.

Sofie holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences from Wageningen University and is originally from the Netherlands. She is a native Dutch speaker but is also fluent in English, and is working on improving her French while living in Brussels.

Outside of office hours, Sofie can be found exploring the Belgian countryside on her racing bike, hitting the boxing gym or running around Bois de la Cambre. She also loves to travel, go to the cinema and to read novels.
