Veronica joined T&E as its Italian representative in January 2017 having worked for three years as senior adviser for energy and environment at the International Union of Railways (UIC) in Paris. During her time at UIC, Veronica managed projects linked to sustainable railway transport, carbon accounting and voluntary CO2 reduction programs. She co-authored several publications on energy consumption and CO2 emission data of railways. Before joining UIC, Veronica worked for the Sustainable Development Foundation in Rome.
Veronica holds a master’s degree in environmental engineering from the University of Perugia. Besides her native Italian, she speaks English and French. In her spare time you can find Veronica taking pictures with her analogue Nikon camera, meditating in a forest or preparing some homemade Italian gnocchi – using local-bio flour, of course!
