Carlos joined T&E in October 2020 to influence decision-making in Spain in favour of a truly sustainable and decarbonised transport system. Before T&E, he worked for 22 years for Greenpeace Spain in the area of energy and climate change and has worked for different entities including the European Climate Foundation, OceanCare, Alianza Mar Blava, The Greens/EFA group in the European Parliament, WWF Spain, WWF Greece and Fundación Renovables.
Born in Madrid, he holds a master’s degree in biological sciences at the University Complutense of Madrid and speaks English as well as his native Spanish. Carlos enjoys hiking and cycling, spending time with his family (including his dog and cats) and friends, reading and listening to rock, folk and classical music.
