Cécile has been with T&E since February 2012. Before joining, she worked as a consultant dealing with clients in the transport, energy and trade sectors at Cambre Associates, a public affairs agency in Brussels. With Cambre Associaties, Cécile worked on the automotive chapter of the EU-South Korea free trade agreement for client Hyundai and on the subsequent safeguard clause.
Half Belgian and half British, Cécile speaks both English and French fluently. She went to school in Brussels, and moved to London to study graphic design at Central Saint Martin followed by design theory at Goldsmiths. After moving back to Brussels, she studied European law and economics at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. At T&E, Cécile leads the T&E better trade and regulation team monitoring the 'better regulation' agenda of the Juncker Commission, and the development of multiple EU trade agreements: Canada, US, Singapore, Indonesia, Mercosur, Mexico and the future relationship between the UK and Europe.
