Bridget joined the T&E board in 2017, She is the sustainable transport campaigner at Campaign for Better Transport in the UK, where she leads on policy and advocacy on roads, low-carbon transport, air quality and liveable cities. A lifelong campaigner on environmental issues, Bridget studied French and history at university and pursued a career as a project manager in the software industry.
She served eight years as an elected local councillor and, before joining Campaign for Better Transport, managed a team working on stakeholder relations on renewable energy and other planning projects. In 2006, she won a National Transport Award for her campaign work. Bridget lives with her partner Richard in central London. When not campaigning she enjoys the arts, exploring European cities and relaxing at home with her cats.
