Will tomorrow’s trucks be safer?

Trucks are involved in 4,000 fatalities every year. A large reason for this is the design of most of today’s trucks; flat faced with too many blind spots for drivers.

The Commission has presented two proposals this year that could truly improve this for streets to become safer. If done right, this legal reform could help save many lives.

Join us on September 25th for a discussion about Direct Vision Requirements in the General Safety Regulation and improved truck design in the Weights & Dimensions Directive. Both laws are currently being revised in Brussels.

Full programme to be released soon.

We hope to see you there.
