Publications: Green Power for Electric Cars: Development of policy recommendations
T&E, Friends of the Earth Europe, Greenpeace European Unit and WWF Germany jointly commissioned this study to look into how the full potential of electric cars can be realised. The study aims to analyse the potential impact of the electrification of road transport on EU power production and to develop policy recommendations to ensure that this development will lead to the growth of renewable electricity in Europe.

Publications: Enerdata report: The impact of lower oil consumption in Europe on world oil prices
This study, by Enerdata, investigates the effects of four different legislations on CO2 emissions for new cars sold in the short (2010), medium (2020) and long term (2030). Various topics are explored: the reductions in European CO2 emissions and oil consumption due to the induced energy savings and substitution of road transport technologies resulting from the proposed emission standards; the impacts of such legislation on the energy security and aggregate energy bill of the EU; and, finally, the effects on international markets.
