Transport noise

Can you imagine if legally permitted levels of pollution from new cars hadn't changed in the last 30 years?   Not only would it be very damaging to health and the environment, it would be absurd given the advances in car technology and fuels that have been seen over the same period.  

But this situation does exist for a forgotten form of pollution from transport.  A form of pollution that affects us so much that it is damaging our health.  Just like other forms of pollution, widely available technology exists to dramatically reduce these impacts, but sadly EU legislation has not moved with the times.  

The problem is noise pollution from transport and it's time for change.
